1. has somebody used the "set interface" command to assign sc0 an address?

... set interface sc0 [vlan] [ip_addr [netmask [broadcast]]]

2. and if yes, is that address in the same subnet as you?

    if not, is the default gateway set on the switch?

... set ip route <destination> <gateway> [metric][primary]

3. and if yes, is it in the same vlan as you? ("your separate vlan")

    if not, is there routing between vlans? (RSM, router on a stick...)
