Strange Problem.

Hi,

Today I got my second leased line and after that I find very strange thing in traceroute command.

My IP rages are

45.x.x.x from one ISP

162.x.x.x from second ISP

My gateway which is doing NATting in ip range of 45.x.x.x

both of my lines are using Static routes.

Protocols are PPP & HDLC respectively.

I add a static route to my router

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 162.x.x.x

That mean all the traffic should use 162.x.x.x link.

then I used traceroute command to my next hop of 162.x.x.x from router console then it took less then 15ms to reach there.

But when I used traceroute command to my next hop of 162.x.x.x from my LAN then it took more then then 700ms to reach that hop.

what could be the reason of that.
