For the LinkSys, are you using the latest firmware?

The latest version is 1.36

The delivered version didn't support ipsec passthrough and other stuff but
now it does.

Goto http://www.linksys.com - firmware upgrade is right on the home page.

I didn't personally test this unit but my group did and they had problems
with vpn also.
However they found that the mtu had been changed from other experiments in
lab.

Once they put the mtu back to 1500 and got the latest firmware, they
reported that the Linksys worked fine.

The only problem I know of now with the Linksys is that my group reports
that X-windows clients aren't working through it, everything else does
though........

I use one at home but I haven't tried anything more fancy than normal email
and surfing.
