Hi,
When using three 3524 switches GBIC'D together an
Ethernet Bus is formed.
Cisco recommends patching Port 2/Switch 1 to port
1/Switch 2 and port 2 Switch 2 to port 1/Switch 3.
Does anyone know why ?
Why not port 1/Switch 1 to port 2/Switch 2 and port
1/Switch 2 to port 2 /Switch 3 ?
This would appear to be the same Spanning Tree-wise.
Is their an electrical issue ?
Any thoughts appreciated.
