Since Layer 4 switching means different things to different vendors
(hey, for that matter, Layer 3 switching is really no more than a
marketing term), what problem are you trying to solve?
As an aside, I have been impressed recently with the number of ISP
interexchange points that seem to use SSR's--I want to understand
them more closely.
