That is not correct. Passing score will be the same, unless Cisco raises the score for everyone upon review of passing results - which happens periodically.

Is the passing score the same on one's second attempt as the first for the CCIE written exam?  I was told by someone that 70% is needed the first time but you must score higher the next time in order to pass.
 
Is there any truth to this?
