Hiya all,
I have a Cisco 2901 Switch. When I bought the Switch it had IOS version
2.1(8) loaded. The Switch was working great until I decided to install IOS
4.5(5), so that I can practice ISL/Trunking.
I upgraded the Supervisor module to version 4.5(5) as follows:
100BaseTX Supervisor WS-X2900 - IOS 4.5(5)
10/100BaseTX Ethernet WS-X2901 - IOS 2.1(8)
Now I cannot seem to be able to ping the TFTP workstation.
Can someone please shed some light as to why I cannot connect to the TFTP to
upload/download IOS images. Is there another alternative to uploading
images without having to go through the sc0 interface. Maybe directly
through one of the 12 Ports on the 10/100BaseTX Ethernet WS-X2901.
Also the Switch now for some reason seems to reboot itself automatically
when I issue the "Show version" command at the IOS prompt. The output for
this can be seen at the bottom of this list.
Any feedback will be appreciated.
