If you assign a private ip address for your internal network.  You need to
enable NAT/PAT.  Check this link

If you have public ip address in your internal network, apply conduit for
icmp.  Hope this help.

Hi everyone
I'm trying to configure a PIX-506 firewall and DSl router
anybody a (show config) from his/her PIX or any suggestion
I can ping outside ip(external ip on PIX) from outside and ping inside
ip(internal ip on PIX) from inside office
but can not ping from pc (inside the company} outside  world , default
gataway and outside IP on Pix
I can ping gatway and any hoists and internet from PIX

any advice
