Ok I have another question about the CCIE written. I've heard the comment that if you
fail the test then when you retake it your required passing score is higher. Does
anyone know how much the passing score is increased by? I am considering taking the
written at the end of this week to assess what areas I am weak in and to get an idea
of the difficulty of the test. Would that be a bad idea for me to do? Given the high
wait time for the lab I would like to take the written as soon as possible, I'm
positive I could pass it in January after a few weeks of concentrated study but I
figure if it doesn't hurt me too bad I might as well try the test right now and I just
might get lucky and pass.
