All, I don't know if this has happened to anybody else but I thought I would pass it along. I have taken MS exams with VUE before but have always taken Cisco exams through Sylvan. I decided to do a Cisco exam through VUE and went to register on their WWW site. My login and password worked but when I tried to get into the Cisco section, it said I had to call VUE to have a rep link my account to the Cisco tests. I called and to make a long story short, I wound up with a different ID for tracking Cisco exams. VUE couldn't find a way to link the ID that had been originally created for the MS exams and I couldn't use the id/password from Sylvan because there is some sort of link between their systems. So now I have another id to keep track of. It seems like operator headspace to me but the reason I am telling everybody is the guy considered deleting the Cisco account associated with Sylvan! I told him I didn't want to because I couldn't imagine the chaos that might come from that. The VUE staff were friendly and helpful, but requiring multiple ids surprised me a bit.
