I had a similar problem where if the primary link to the primary router went
down, the ISDN backup link to the secondary router would take over as
expected. But when the primary link came back up, the static route over the
ISDN link did not get removed. A 'clear ip route' would fix this. One work
around was to change the bandwidth and delay parameters on the ISDN
interface which made the static route have a higher AD. Or under eigrp
where you do your redistribute static command, add the optional parameters
where you can set BW, delay, load,... In the end, I wound up using Dialer
Watch instead of floating static routes. (But I still had to change the
delay variable on the remote router's Dialer interface) Hope this was
