Hi all:
As we know that the ROM in Cisco router comprises four parts: post
code,bootstrap code,ROM Monitor,Mini ROM.Could any tell me the difference
between ROM Monitor and Mini ROM? the book states: if you set configure
register value to 0x2101, it will boot from Mini ROM. But when I set 0x2101
to my cisco 2620 router, it appears normally like 0x2102. And if you set to
0x2100, it will enter into ROM Monitor. So I suspect that 2620 router did
not contain Mini ROM code. Is it right?
