One reason I think why the most popular order for the CCNP exams is 1)
Routing, 2) Switching, 3) Remote Access, and 4) Support is because there
appears to be some overlap in the topics covered in the later exams. I
noticed in the Switching exam yesterday some questions about access lists.
Access lists weren't covered to any great depth in the study materials I
used (Cisco LAN Switching, Exam Cram, and peripherally the Thomas book), but
they *were* covered in the Routing exam materials. Right now I'm studying
for the Remote Access exam, and the outline from the Cisco webpage lists
"Bridging," "TCP/IP," and "TAG switching" as part of the material covered.
However, Paquet's BCRAN book doesn't mention bridging at all - once again,
good thing I covered the Switching exam already. Support, obviously, takes
from all three and should be taken last.

Food for thought. Happy Saturday, and if anyone's from New England, maybe
I'll see you in Andover this afternoon. ;-)
