Hi all Currently we are using Cat6500, MSFC 1 running on "IOS MSFC Software (C6MSFC-IS-M), Version 12.1(4)E1" We have ip multicast group streaming video across the subnets (10 IP subnet). We have seen frame dropping whenever a new user join or exit the multicast group. Before the Cat6509 with MSFC, we were using Cat5500 with RSM running version "IOS (tm) C5RSM Software (C5RSM-ISV-M), Version 12.1(4)" and we have not seen this problem before.
