I pressume before u upload, your router is working fine with xyz IOS version. and pressume you have backup of that ios in TFTP Server. try to upload your older version. from rommon, i hope you know how to set variables for ip address, subnet mask, gateway, tftp server and its image name etc. then run tftpdnld command. if you are getting timed out message during upload, it could be problem with your tftp server. (I did face same problem) setup another tftp server and try from it.
