I hope that you have got the null modem cable , if you don't please get that and connect that to the WAN port on both of the routers , one of it will be DCE on which the clock rate has to be configured and the other will act as a DTE for simulation purpose , assign the IP address to both of the interface and try to ping at each other and at any other interface . thats it , all the best .
