"they would like" is hardly a technical requirement. What problem are they trying to solve? At a different level, they are free to use the addresses any way they like. If the question is "can they split into two /21 blocks, advertise them to the Internet, and guarantee global reachability," ARIN has nothing to do with that. A /21 certainly isn't guaranteed to pass all provider filters. > > > > Is there any problems doing this? > >As the IP addresses were obtained in some form from ARIN, I would suggest >that your customer reads through the ARIN documentation associated with >the assignment, and/or formally contacts ARIN. > >--==-- >Bruce. > >Speaking for myself. _________________________________ FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
