Please help

When I went to Cisco's COO to check on their latest IOS for the 7507. I see
the following:
The BootFlash IOS image
rsp-boot-mz.121-7.bin

And the:
 IP/FW/IDS IPSec 3DES
     rsp-ik2o3sv-mz



Could you please explain the two? Which software is loaded into where?
