This is a new (non-CCNP+) security specialization and will not expire next
month.
You may want to check the archives, I remember some discussion of the
tests/beta tests in the fall of last year. Global Knowledge has detailed
course descriptions that you may want to see. If I recall correctly,
product documentation was recommended as a resource. I think a PIX would be
useful for the PIX test and maybe the VPN test. In my experience, the
product-focused tests are somewhat easier to get your arms around - just
read the doc and get as much hands-on as possible. Good Luck.
