For a few 2500's & a 1900 switch, I wouldn't think you'd need a rack.  This
setup should fit easily anywhere.  If are building a lab, a full "19 rack
wouldn't be a bad idea.  This would allow for room to grow & keep resale.  I
would recommend http://pacificcable.com/ & http://www.warehouse.com/.  I
have friends who have purchased racks from Dave @ Pacific & they seemed very
please with the prices & service.  I purchased a Belkin from Microwarehouse
(stand alone- no holes in the floor) & though I paid a bit more, am very
pleased with it.

It's a big purchase, but it's a decision as to what direction your lab is
moving in.
