Hi,
I enclosed a PDF of my network. Basically, I am adding the "Private VLAN"
to the "Public VLAN". The Private VLAN has VLAN 200 only for itself. It
also has VLAN 25, which we have throughout our networks as a management
rail. I had troubles with the trunk between the 2 different VTP domains. I
only trunked VLANs 1, 16 and 25 but the VTP server for the Private VTP
domain kept advertising VLAN 200 to the "Public" VLAN.
I don't know if this is related or not, but during this issue, I cannot do
any DNS lookups from the "Private" network, whose connection to the DNS
servers is through the 6509.
Finally, I am getting some VLAN mismatches within the "Private VLAN". What
does this indicate? I only trunked VLANs 1,25 and 200 to the clients at the
bottom of the picture.
Any help is greatly appreciated and if you need any more clarification, let
me know.
