Hi All. you may remeber my emails that described my problem where the router kept crashing numerous times every 13 days. It would crash once on the 13th day of operation between the erasing of the flash, then after its first crash on that 13th day, it would crash in 20 minute intervals until I erased the flash. I got in touch with the TAC and run the stack decoder on the cisco web site and found that I had a bug. ( I run a 1720 with NAT) The bug related to an IOS error found in 7000 series and also in the 1700 series that run NAT. Cisco knows of this problem but has yet to officially release an IOS that corrects the problem. I have a new IOS though which is in use as an Interim solution and it appears to be working fine.
