um .... Louie?
We've had that thread here a few times and the trick here is the "on most
platforms".
And then it was predicated on using Enterprise IOS.
In this case - specifically the 2600/3600 series - if you got a trick I'm
listening...... :-)
********************
Lab2611-1(config-line)#line vty 5 10
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
the marker should be under the "5"
********************
and then the 3600 series
Lab3600-1(config)#line vty 5 10
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
again, the marker should be under the "5"
********************
and then the 2500 series
Lab2501-1(config)#line vty 5 10
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
again, the marker should be under the "5"
********************
and then the 4500 series
Lab4500-1(config)#line vty 5 10
Lab4500-1(config-line)#
hey! that worked (has Enterprise....)
********************
and then the 4500 series (without Enterprise)
LabR06(config)#line vty 5 10
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
again, the marker should be under the "5"
********************
Louie! help me get this working.......... :-)
