Not part of the original thread but just a comment on "all your normal
stuff". We also had thoughts about using Service Provider IOS throughout our
core but were rudely surprised in the lab when we couldn't do bridging.

We have a few cases where we need bridging (RFC 1483 ATM bridging) so those
routers can't run SP.

I can still remember trying to type "bridge-group1" and wondering why I got
"unrecognized command", until I typed the ? and saw that there weren't any
bridge commands........
