I also got this answer from CCO. It is connected to a fiber net and I cannot find out what is causing the suspension. I thought it might have been a faulty 100 meg card but I switched them and it still doesnt work. Ah well back to searching cisco.com and the web.. stuart -----Urspr|ngliche Nachricht----- Von: Circusnuts [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Gesendet am: Thursday, May 10, 2001 4:07 PM An: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Betreff: Re: Cisco 2820 100 mb port problem [7:3971] I entered your information into the search engine of the CCO & got this on the first hit. http://www-search.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/search/public.pl?q=Suspended-no-linkbea t&num=10&searchselector=0 Answer: Suspended due to the absence of a linkbeat, ring, or ATM network. This is usually because the attached station is disconnected or powered-down. Port automatically returns to enabled state when the condition causing the suspension is removed.
