Hi folks, I need your help. I have a 2511 router with 16 async lines. I have a modem attached to the first line, which is line 1. I normally allow my users to sit on an NT box and telnet to the ip address of the ethernet interface on the 2511 on port 2001 to get into the modem so they can dial out into another unix box to get to its console. My question is, is it possible to have the 2511 terminate the session if the user is finished with his work? That is the user telnet to x.x.x.x 2001 to get into the modem. From there, the user type: atdt 18001111111 to dial into another unix box. When he's done working on that unix box, he types 'logoff' and it will disconnect him from the unix box which in turn brings him back to the line 1 session of the 2511. Is it possible to make the 2511 sense there was a drop on the connection from the modem to the unix box so it will also terminate the line 1 session? I hope you folks will get the picture i'm describing here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. -Frank Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7&i=5520&t=5520 -------------------------------------------------- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
