NT4 doesn't run RIP by default, it's an added service you have to install.
It's only RIPv1 so it's pretty worthless, IMHO. Under Control Panel->
Services, just stop and disable "RIP for Internet Protocol" and/or Control
Panel -> Network -> Services -> select "RIP for Internet Protocol" and hit
Remove (warning, it'll want to reboot).
