You are missing dialer-group 1 statement under the async interface and
dialer-list 1 protocol ip permit in the global config mode (I am assuming).
When you are done configuring both sites, try pinging with debug ppp nego
and debug ppp auth. Also, run debug dialer and see what happens.
Post the debugs again if you are not successful
