Yep- the first edition was pretty much an embarrassment. I bought it & soon found my self with a massive pile of Errata. The second edition seems clean & though I'm not quite half way through it, appears to cover the tedious (Ethernet, Token Ring, & FDDI) framing & bridging (no voice that I see) very well.
