The switch is itself will not do an intervlan routing for you, for that you
need an MSFC, MSM or an external router preferrably a 262x series that can
trunk on it's fastE interfaces. So, I would assume that you've created
vlans iin the swtch already. "show vlan" will show you this vlans that
you've created. I would also assume that you assigned the port to a
particular vlan. For example, set vlan 2 2/1, assigns port 2/1 to vlan 2.
This means that any device you've attached to port 2/1 will be a member of
vlan 2.

I don't know what you're reffering to a router but if it's and MSFC you can
get to it by "session 15" or "session 16" depending on where he supervisor
is inserted. "show module" will give you this information, it will show you
that sup is in slot so and so and it will also show you that the MSFC in
slot ##.

What is it that you cannot get to communicate with what? What command are
you putting in the router(?) that this router is not recognizing? You did
not tell us what type of router this is (MSFC, MSM, or external router) but
if it's MSFC no additional config is necessary, if it's MSM then
configuration is needed in both the switch and the MSM.
This link is config/install note for MSM:
