You are correct sir.  What's interesting is that the CIT book doesn't
mention that detail.  It just says "Optimum is the default"  (I guess it is
talking about 7500's tho).  When studying this, I went to Cisco's site and
read up on this to be sure......  It seems now (on units that support it)
CEF is the default as of IOS 12.0.
