I am trying to connect 3500XL and 2948 through a GBIC. It did not work because I had copper GBIC's in both and the 2948 doesn't accept copper. My question is, does the 3500 accept fiber GBIC's so I can wire them fiber to fiber. Has anyone done this? I am currentlt using a 100MB crossover to connect the 2 but would like to have a Gigabit connection between the 2. Thanks.
