first define an acl permitting the ips of both points. Then use the "deb ip
packet"
command.
Example:
    point to point from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.2

router2#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.
router2(config)#access-list 90 permit 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.252
router2(config)#exit
router2#debug ip packet detail 90
IP packet debugging is on (detailed) for access list 90
