I have read this e-mail three times now, and I have still no clue on what
you're asking.
What media are the clients connected to, and is that media connected to the
router?
What media(s) are the server connected to, and is that (are those) media(s)
connected to the router?
I have a hard time figuring out how your ethernet clients can get a token
ring connection.
Please specify with some more details about your network.

Subject: getting a token connection instead of ethernet [7:11788]
when client connects to novell server via 3640 router,
they gets IP connection on Token Ring card not on
Ethernet, We recently placed a Gigabit card in and
now we have both token and thernet cards on the
server, since we are converting from token to ether
and trying to figure out why ethernet client are still
getting a token connection.
any ideas
