Yes- the 2500, 2600, 3600, & 4000M (or above models) work together fine.
The 2500 series FLASH is more expensive because it's has a quicker rate
(can't remember if these are measured in nanoseconds).
Anywho- the cheaper 2600/3600 FLASH works fine. The 2500 will only run the
faster 2500 version FLASH.
