Brian,
go to www.google.com and look for a software called seyon. This is
equivalent to Teraterm
Pro in windows. It is the best hyperterminal (freeware) for linux. Just
download the rpm
package and rpm it with "rpm -Uvh package-name". to run, just type
seyon.
