Do you want to know about X.25 (your subject) or X.21 (your text)?

I don't believe there is a theoretical maximum for X.25 - this has been
discussed before, though, so try checking the archives.
X.21 will run with no problems at 2 Mbps. We have lots of X.21 interfaces
running at 2 Mbps in our network.
However, it does depend on what hardware you're using - see for example
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/core/cis7505/interpro/install/ipicgfsp.htm#xtocid88350
which describes limitations on the total bandwidth an FSIP can cope with.

Subject: X.25 interface maximum rate [7:14146]

Hello Group,

Can somebody tell me the maximum speed an X.21 interface can suport or
a URL that has detail information on this. I have an X.21 interface
connection to a 2MB link and it would flap after about 48hrs of
operation with a lot of input, CRC errors.

A Bit Error Rate test has been performed on the link and the link
quality was confirmed to be good.

Please help!!!

Regards,

Preye.
