Well the price I have is a VPN tunnel to Japan. I don't know if
this will help. This is a connection to The Nasdaq Stock Market located in
Rockville, Maryland to Tokyo Japan. The cost is based on the UUNET UUsecure
service implemented via xedia router. Japan T1 cost is $3500 but with the
the vpn service it is 4500 and in the U.S. it is $1200 including the vpn
service. Average of about 250ms and the through put is pretty good. I can
give you the details of utilization if you need since we do have the switch
probes implemented. It might not be the best if you are doing voice over IP
because you want 150 ms on average. Hope this gives you a clue.
