Based on what you are saying I see no way the routes could be coming back
through the default/duplex link.  If you are advertising for example 1.1.1.1
to the first provider then the only route to those devices is via that
link.  How the provider deals with those routes is not up to you unless you
can do communities but by no means should it be coming back via any other
alternate path than that specific provider.  We have multiple connections to
a single provider and our rule is filter what you send and receive.  We use
prefix lists.  I would set it up so both links are running bgp and you
receive partial routes from one provider and partial from the other with
defaults and then filter what YOU send on each link.  I would think that
would be a better redundancy setup since if the first provider goes down and
you are supposedly only sending advertisements for certain hosts via that
link, then if that link goes down.....well your hosed.
