Just commenting on the voip stuff, option 2 will work and depending on the
PBX you will be able to use all your features. The features will work only
if you can pass the signalling info' between the sites so it depends on
exactly how the pbx does it, I know that for example it works between two
Meridian PBXs where the d channel, 16, was passed between two AS5300s (you
can use 2600 or 3600s). Some PBXs use other channels as well for features
and this is where problems with voip occur so you'll have to test it,
