Hello sami, probably the best way to do what you're asking would be to set the type 5 type (E1 or E2) when and where you do the actual redistribution... ie: redistribute igrp 1 metric-type 1 but that wasn't really your question... I don't think that you would want to try to change the default type of all external routes to a type 1 on a single router even if you could (just don't think it's possible), as it would conflict with the rest of the area's type 5's.
