I would safely assume all on this list would be interested in doing this.
It's not like somebody is going to sell an old compaq desk pro as a pix
firewall. Copying boson exams illegally is piracy....building a hardware
platform to learn on and gain information about is nothing of that sort.
Just as I can copy boson exams all day long and keep 10,000 copies in my
home and not be in any violation,
I can build a computer to emulate anything I want and keep it in my home.
Worst case scenario is I build this computer, cisco disagrees, and I
purchase the software from them. Still saving me TONS....And I have a
platform to learn on.

Using software which designed for use on a cisco hardware platform on
another hardware platform is a violation of the software license(see General
Limitations (i). Be careful, read the license. A lot of the people here
are here to study for cisco certs which can be revoked for doing stuff like
this. Besides, how many of you would flame the pants off someone looking
for a boson crack but would try to build your own PIX on a PC??
