Hello All: When I remove the UTP cable off the ethernet transceiver my router responds with a "Ethernet0 is UP, line protocol is down"...however when I reconnect the cable...it won't come back up....why is that and how do I fix it? This is strictly in a lab environment..but I'm trying to find out why it can't synch up again. Is there a setting that I have to retype to tell it the line is connected?? Any thoughts on this is greatly appreciated.
