One of two things... either indicating Half Duplex/Full Duplex connection, or 10Mbps or 100Mbps connection.
Doing a quick search on CCO for 2900XL status LED's will probably confirm this. - Mark Odette II StellarConnection Services -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Rizzo, Damian Sent: Thursday, October 04, 2001 4:29 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Orange lights on Catalyst 2900XL Switch [7:22109] Hey all, I have a quick question regarding a Catalyst 2900XL Switch. All appears well, all the status LED's are green with the exception of two of them. Coincidentally, those two ports are connected to the Uplink ports of two Hubs. Now both hubs work fine, all connected devices work fine, a "show int" on the switch show's both the ports with a Orange LED as UP and the Line Protocol as being up. Physically all appears to be working. It just bothers me that those two ports are Orange. I thought Orange only meant one thing, NO GOOD. Just Curious if anyone else has experienced this.
