what do you mean by "bring it down" ? a 6509 out of the box has a thirty two gig backplane. four x 3548s at theoretical best can only consume 16 gigs.
recall that the best uplink scenario on a 3548 is 4 gigs ( full duplex ) up and back. I suppose buffers can fill, and packets can be dropped, or blades can hang. One more reason for non blocking wire speed, I suppose ;-> chuck -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of chris Sent: Friday, October 05, 2001 9:16 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: 6509 ?
