Mike and Dave,

I agree to a great extent on what you guys are saying... my question that I
have had for awhile is, will there be a time where you might be required or
maybe the industry starts demanding people that know both network and NT? 
Maybe not high level on both, but if you have high level on 1, at least you
need to have mid-level knowledge on the other.

My thing always was that, like you guys are saying, the more you know the
better and sometimes, having the knowledge of NT or its component will
definitely help out...  But will the employers take advantage of getting
people that can do both or start requiring their network people do both???

Definitely, if you know the NT side, you can troubleshoot issues and design
networks better since you are building and mainintaing the infastructure to
run NT and other Apps and network operating systems on top of it....
