Thanks to those who provided info and links on and "off the list" it really helped. Seems the biggest drawback to the Security route is money. Without corp sponsorship there is no way I can touch the price of the equipment and training needed to become CCIE level proficient in this field. So looks like both are the way to go after all with R/S first (ego check..I hope I can do it) which is really what I wanted in the first place...just never ends does it folks... Thanks Dan
