Hi! Studying wireless technology right now, but I'm a bit confused with the standards, I think it can be that my studymaterial is a bit "outdated"..
Is the 802.1x standard ready yet, according to the material I study from it still is under construction and approval... Is EAP simply said a techniqe for users to authorize to a radiusserver on a backbone instead of only to the access point. Can you say that 802.1x is equal to EAP? Are cisco's leap (lightweight eap) protocol being replaced with the "real" eap? thanks! best regards Johan Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7&i=24223&t=24223 -------------------------------------------------- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
