the problems with DRAM occur because:
1.  You try to install PC SIMM memory that is NON-parity memory.  The
routers require PARITY memory.
2.  You have memory that is not fast enough (70 ns maximum)

I've never had a problem with flash memory installations, so I can't comment
on that.

Not all memory is created equally  ;-)
