Hi,

I got a simple question on eigrp summary address.

here is the senario:

Serial0-----RouterA--Serial1--------------------Serial0--RouterB
172.16.1.1/24 172.16.25.1/24 172.16.25.2/24

RouterA:

router eigrp 1
passive-interface s1
network 172.16.0.0
no auto-summary

router igrp 1
passive-interface s0
network 172.16.0.0

int s1
ip summary-address eigrp 1 172.16.1.0 255.255.255.0

My question is : How come on routerB , I cannot see the route to 172.16.1.0
, it only shows 172.16.0.0 as connected.

This example is from Jeff Doyle's page 382. it shows the 172.16.1.0/24 can
be redistributed into igrp .

Your suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Raymond
